As for the worst performer at the end of the day’s trading, Apple (NASDAQ:) closed down by 2.11%, or 3.05 points, and traded at 141.17 levels at the close. Salesforce Inc (NYSE:) declined 1.31%, or 2.01 points, to end at 151.68. Visa Inc Class A (NYSE:) closed down 1.04%, or 2.20 points, at 209.06.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by a stock Under Armour Inc A (NYSE:), which rose 4.79% to end at 9.84, Celanese (NYSE:) also continued its rise at 4.75% and closed at 105.56 levels, as well as Ralph Lauren Corp Class A (NYSE:) rose by 4.36% and closed at 112.66.
Among the underperforming stocks today, we mention Illumina Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell by 3.84%, and closed its session at a price of 208.57, per share. PayPal Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 2.87% at 77.64 shares Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:), which weakened by 2.83% and closed at 303.39 today’s session on the stock exchange.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by shares Otonomy Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 113.82% at a price of 0.23, Apollo Endosurgery Inc (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 67.83% and closed at 10.07 levels, as well as OncoSec Medical Inc (NASDAQ:) rose by 50.98% and ended It trades at a price of 3.85.
Among the stocks with the weakest performance today, we mention the stock of Digital Brands Group (NASDAQ:), which fell by 34.17%, and closed its session at a price of 4.74, Eqonex Ltd (NASDAQ:), which lost 33.88%, at a price of 0.09, and a share of Secoo Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:), which weakened by 31.91% and closed at 1.60 for the day’s session on the stock exchange.
The number of gainers exceeded the number of shares that closed lower in trading on the New York Stock Exchange with 1864 compared to 1240, while 111 remained unchanged. As for the Nasdaq stock exchange, 1900 of the stocks declined and 1839 strengthened its position, while 191 of the stocks maintained their value.
