(NYSE:) declined 1.67%, or 1.01 points, to end at 59.59, and Home Depot (NYSE:) closed down 1.58%, or 5.10 points, to 318.43.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by IPG Photonics Corp (NASDAQ:), which rose by 11.56% at a price of 125.55. Tesla (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise by 7.51% and closed at levels 209.25, as well as Aptiv PLC (NYSE:) rose by 7.37% and ended its trading at a price of 121.10.
Among the stocks that underperformed today, we mention SAIC Inc. (NYSE:), which fell by 5.50%, closing at 95.17, Marsh & McLennan (NYSE:), which lost 4.02%, at 167.00, and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co (NYSE:), which weakened by 3.58% and closed at 188.24 in today’s session on the stock market.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by Amesite Operating Co (NASDAQ:), which rose by 81.62% at a price of 0.51. Boxlight Corp Class A (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 39.47% and closed at levels 0.56, as well as a share United Insurance Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:) It rose by 37.27% and ended its trading at a price of 1.51.
