As for the weaker performer at the end of the day’s trading, shares closed Boeing Co (NYSE:) down by 0.90%, or 1.88 points, to trade at 206.69 levels at the close. Shares in United Health Group Inc (NYSE:) declined 0.83%, or 4.06 points, to end at 486.00. Coca Cola Co. (NYSE:) closed down 0.77%, or 0.48 points, at 62.13.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by Warner Bros Discovery Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 8.18%, at a price of 12.56, Nucor Corp (NYSE:) also continued its rise at 7.15% and closed at 151.16 levels, as well as United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) rose by 5.54% and closed at a price of 45.75.
Among the underperforming stocks today, we mention the stock of the company DISH Network Corp (NASDAQ:), which fell by 6.26%, and closed its session at a price of 14.83, Illumina Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 6.20%, at a price of 194.45, and The share. Mosaic Company (NYSE:), which weakened by 5.02% and closed at 44.83 in today’s session on the stock market.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by Biora Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 155.92% at a price of 5.40. Sotera Health (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 99.65% and closed at 17.25 levels. Arrow DatChat Inc (NASDAQ:) rose to 59.22% and ended its trading at a price of 0.57.
Among the stocks that performed the weakest today, we mention the share of Bio Atla (NASDAQ:), which fell by 46.24%, and closed its session at a price of 4.15, BIOLASE Inc (NASDAQ:) share, which lost 44.95%, at a price of 0.38, and a share of Idera Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:), which weakened by 29.34% and closed at 0.46 for today’s session on the stock exchange.
The number of gainers exceeded the number of shares that closed lower in trading on the New York Stock Exchange with 2200 compared to 853, while 94 remained unchanged. As for the Nasdaq stock exchange, 2653 of the stocks strengthened their position and 1040 retreated, while 153 of the stocks maintained their value.
