As for the worst performer at the end of the day’s trading, Apple (NASDAQ:) closed down by 3.07%, or 3.99 points, to trade at 126.04 at the close. Walt Disney Company (NYSE:) declined 2.55% or 2.20 points to end at 84.17 and Dow Inc (NYSE:) closed down 2.34% or 1.20 points to 49.99.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by a stock Generac Holdings Inc (NYSE:), which rose by 5.61% at a price of 96.26, Tesla (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 3.31% and closed at 112.71 levels, as well as Illumina Inc (NASDAQ:) rose by 1.08% and ended its trading at Price 190.81.
Among the underperforming stocks today, we mention the stock of the company SolarEdge Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell by 5.87% and closed its session at a price of 275.84, APA Corporation (NASDAQ:), which lost 5.16%, at a price of 45.18, and Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:), which weakened by 5.16%. It closed at 32.19 today’s session on the stock exchange.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by shares Kala Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 218.37%, at a price of 12.48, Minerva Surgical Inc (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 66.15% and closed at 0.27 levels, as well as Trans Code Therapeutics (NASDAQ:) rose to 51.82% and closed at a price of 0.61.
Among the underperforming stocks today, we mention Minerva Neurosciences Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell by 39.15%, and closed its session at a price of 1.43, per share. Model Performance Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:), which lost 35.54% at 8.78 shares Lightjump Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:), which weakened by 37.11% and closed at 11.95 on the day’s session.
