Stock indices in Saudi Arabia fell at the end of today’s session

Shares in Saudi Arabia closed lower at the end of trading on Sunday, as the indices accompanied the downside, and losses were recorded in the sectors of agriculture, food industries, real estate development, transportation and transportation.

At the end of trading in Riyadh, the Saudi general index lost 0.53%.

Among the leading stocks today in the Saudi general index, the share of Elm Company (TADAWUL: 7203) stood out, which rose 6.89% or 15.40 points, and its price reached 239.00 at the close. On the other hand, Al-Khorayef Water and Energy Technology Company (TADAWUL:2081) increased by 6.33% or 6.60 points to close at 110.80, while Nama Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:2210) increased by 3.95% or 1.50 points to 39.50 at the end of the session.

As for the weakest performance at the end of trading today, the stock of Salama Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8050) closed at 9.96% or 1.44 points, and traded at 13.02 levels at the close. Shares of Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Company (TADAWUL:1214) fell 6.25% or 1.24 points to price 18.60, and Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:2380) shares closed down 5.95% or 1.75 points to 27.65.

The number of decliners exceeded the number of shares that closed higher in the Saudi stock market with 178 compared to 46, while 11 remained unchanged.

Salama Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8050) fell to a 52-week low, and continued to decline by 9.96% or 1.44 points, at 13.02. The share of Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Company (TADAWUL:1214) fell to a record low in 52 weeks, and it fell 6.25% or 1.24 points to a price of 18.60.

Futures contracts for WTI crude oil futures for June delivery fell 1.97% or 2.04 and closed at $101.75 a barrel. As for trading in other commodities, Brent oil contracts for July delivery fell 1.97% or 2.13 and reached a price of $106.20 a barrel, while the June contract for gold contracts recorded a decrease of 0.81% or 15.70 points, and closed at $1,932.50 an ounce.

The EUR/SAR pair lost 0.34% and traded at 4.05 levels, while the USD/SAR pair remained unchanged around 0.01% and reached 3.75 levels.

The dollar index contracts traded with an increase of 0.51% at the level of 101.13.
