For AEW fans, you know Sting was in action Wednesday night.
The Icon was therefore teamed with Darby Allin at AEW Dynamite on June 28, 2023 to face Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a Tornado Tag Match. A great match for the former WCW champion who decided to offer the defining moment of the match.
As Darby Allin climbed a ladder, Sting decided to climb up and do the Splash jump through two tables outside the ring.
The tables were maybe a little too far for Sting, who is no longer 20, and he hit his head on the second table.
The Stinger spoke following the show and said he was going to get stitches backstage:
