His presence is not intended to make Youssef Handichi forget: “He defended all our demands very well for years“, explains Oliver Rittweger from Moor. However, he judges the choice to move from PTB to MR “incomprehensible“.
Mobility at the heart of its concerns
For Oliver Rittweger de Moor, the STIB management has a “great contempt for workers and travelers“. “The management has liberal management, American style.”
The PTB candidate is currently making the rounds of the deposits: “I have devoted the last twenty years of my life to defending the interests of STIB workers“.
Although mobility is important to him, Oliver Rittweger de Moor clarifies that he does not want a “punitive mobility policy“. He wants “really continue to invest in strengthening the public transport network“, particularly with the free STIB.
However, this reinforcement should not be done haphazardly. For metro 3, “we cannot continue with the project as it is designed today“. “We must develop the metro in Brussels, but not at any cost.”
Towards a majority?
Could the PTB reach a majority? “I think we have been very clear: we want to lead the regions and the country, but not at any cost.“. And to continue: “We need a real break with the policies pursued in recent years“.
