Pete Sandich risks life and limb every day on daring aerial firefighting missions. For the sake of his girlfriend Dorinda, he wants to give up the grueling job. It happens on his last assignment: his machine explodes. However, he does not end up in the followinglife, but in a world between life and death. He receives one last assignment from a mysterious woman: he is to pass on his courage and skills to a young pilot. Pete returns as an invisible guardian angel – and has his hands full, because his protégé is acting pretty stupid … just not with Pete’s girlfriend Dorinda.
