Iggy Azalea won’t “waste time” explaining herself to people on social media.
The 32-year-old rap star insists she won’t get drawn into negotiations with her critics or justifying her decisions on social media.
Iggy – who was born in Australia, before moving to the US as a teenager to follow her musical ambitions – wrote on Twitter: “So many friends say
“‘Why let people say bad things regarding you? You might tweet and shut them up!
“I answer them
“Because they live in a reality of their own choosing.
“I want to tell you too.
“Don’t waste time explaining yourself to people who will never admire you. [doigts croisés emoji] (sic)”
Iggy posted this comment shortly following insisting she won’t publicly reveal her earnings from OnlyFans.
The ‘Work’ singer has denied suggestions that she made more than $300,000 in her first 24 hours on the platform.
Iggy wrote on the microblogging platform, “With love.
“I won’t share what I earn on OF, the same way I didn’t share what I earned selling my music catalog. (sic)”
Iggy actually announced in 2021 that she was taking a hiatus from music for “a few years” to focus on “other creative endeavors.”
However, the rapper later confirmed her return to the music scene via a post on Twitter.
The blonde beauty – who released her latest album, ‘The End of an Era’, in 2021 – wrote online: “A year ago I was ready to walk away from music because I was tired of the negative energy she was attracting.
“But what I’ve learned is that even when I’m minding my own business, you’re all going to be negative AND nosy.
“So if I can’t have peace, neither can you.
“I’ll be back. Cry regarding it. (sic)”
