Stéphane Plaza is back in prime-time access with a brand new show called New home for a new life, on M6. For the occasion, the emblematic presenter of the channel confided in our colleagues from TV Cable Sat. And he did not hesitate to return to his fight once morest alcohol.
Last summer, Karine Le Marchand’s best friend announced some important news. He has set himself the goal of not drinking alcohol. A decision he made simply by choice. And, although it was difficult at the start, Stéphane Plaza did not give up (despite a few gaps and consumption of Red Bull which he quickly stopped). He confided in this fight several times on social networks. Thus, he did not escape a question on the subject during his interview with TV Cable Sat (edition of May 15, 2023).
The journalist asked him if he had an addiction problem. “No, but I had a society drink. A small glass of rosé is fine, but when it’s every day following the theater or a sale, it’s not possible. Before going on tour [pour la pièce Un couple magique, NDLR], I said I was quitting alcohol to get fit. I received messages on Facebook from people telling me that they had also stopped drinking, for a day or two. Just for that, I don’t regret having spoken regarding it publicly“, replied Stéphane Plaza.
I didn’t want to miss my father
The 53-year-old then said that now he wanted to focus on the essentials. Thus, it takes more time for him, but also for his dad Raymond. “When I lost my mother, I had a hard time mourning. I decided to take my father to Martinique as part of a documentary that is close to my heart and which will be broadcast soon on M6. We are both very modest. I didn’t want to miss my father who is 92 years old“, he concluded.
Remember that it was on July 27 that Stéphane Plaza revealed his goal to his Instagram community. “I started this challenge this summer for fun, to go once morest summer drinking trends. I decided to continue for myself, no longer as a challenge but out of desire. And if I can avoid having a facelift, have natural wrinkles related to my age and not to rosé, I would be happy“, he wrote.
