Stephan Pierau (Hairdressing Studio Stephan Pierau, Frankfurt/Oder) had already become the German gold winner as Creative Colorist of the Year. Now he has also won internationally and won silver as Creative Colorist of the Year.
“I consciously chose muted, earthy pastel tones for my look because these tones are very popular internationally. People are also adopting the back-to-nature trend when choosing their hair colors. I used different Goldwell hair colors from Elumen to Colorance to @PurePigments because I can work with them very individually. The deliberately chosen color placement holds up an artistic mirror to current social events around the world. The selection of color tones with deliberately used hard demarcations is to be understood as an expression of the social culture of conversation, which unfortunately no longer knows any in-between,” Stephan Pierau comments on his inspiration.
