QUINTANA ROO.- Early Wednesday morning a 2-year-old boy died after he and his older brother were victims of a fatal attack by their stepfather, in Cancun.
The attack occurred at a Villas Otoch Paraíso home, in superblock 259, where the the children’s stepfather brutally beat them.
According to what was reported, a woman arrived at the emergency area of the General Hospital with his youngest son, who was later declared dead. He then reported that his other son remained at home.
Police and paramedics went to the house where They found a six year old boycon visible woundsso he was taken to the hospital to receive urgent medical attention.
Child murdered: attacker flees
The alleged aggressor managed to escape, and a search operation was deployed in coordination with local authorities and C5 personnel.
The motorcycle taxi he was driving was found in the supermarket parking lot on Kabah Avenue and Chetumal, superblock 225. In the unit, authorities found red stains that could be related to the case.
During the operation, security cameras detected a man who matched the description of the suspect on Los Tules Avenuesuperblock 247. However, after a review, it was determined that he was not the person wanted.
The staff of the Special Prosecutor’s Office in Combating the Crime of Homicide continues with the investigations, which include the family environment of the victims.
