Stelzer-Wögerer is the district chairwoman of the Economic Association in Steyr

The Steyr-Stadt business association has a new board: At the district council, Bettina Stelzer-Wögerer, the third generation managing director of the traditional company Wögerer since 2010, was unanimously elected district chairwoman. The new deputy is Clemens Klinglmair.

Stelzer-Wögerer succeeds Eduard Riegler at the head of the business association. He carried out this function with great commitment for twelve years.

The 53-year-old entrepreneur is married to Governor Thomas Stelzer and is the mother of two adult children. As managing director and partner, she heads Wögerer GmbH, which was founded in 1953. The Steyr company with around 40 employees specializes in holistic gastronomy and hotel concepts. After working as district chairwoman of Woman in Business Steyr from 2011 to 2021, Stelzer-Wögerer has been deputy regional chairwoman of Woman in Business Upper Austria since 2021. She has been WB deputy chairman in Steyr since 2017.

“It is important to me to pay special attention to the many successful small and medium-sized companies. Because, alongside our strong industrial companies, they form an important pillar of Steyr as a business location,” says Stelzer-Wögerer.
