Stellantis is planning a joint sales company in Germany. The multi-brand group announced this today. Stellantis’ new joint German sales company is to become more efficient and customer-centric to support the goals of the global corporate strategy plan “Dare Forward 2030”.
“We have set ourselves the clear goal of achieving a top position in customer satisfaction in all markets,” says Amaury de Bourmont, Head of Stellantis Germany, underscoring the company’s claim. In a challenging market environment, they want to achieve the goal with a more powerful, more efficient organization of the sales company together with the trade. To this end, the following organizational changes are expected to be implemented at Stellantis Germany GmbH in the first quarter of 2023:
The brands Alfa Romeo, DS Automobiles and Lancia are bundled in a premium cluster. Niccolò Biagioli, currently Brand Country Director Alfa Romeo & Lancia, will be responsible for this area in the future. Lukas Dohle, previously Brand Country Director DS Automobiles, will take up a new management position in the company from April 2023 following a voluntary break for the family.
A comprehensive and central sales function headed by Roberto Debortoli (previously Brand Country Director Fiat & Abarth) is established for the brands Citroën, Fiat, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot. The following managers will be responsible for these volume brands as Brand Country Director in the German market:
Citroën: Patrick Dinger, previously Managing Director Citroën Austria. He succeeds Wolfram Knobling, who will take on a new management role within the Group.
Fiat: Annika Löwe, previously Head of Sales Operations Opel Germany.
Jeep: Still Luigi Saia.
Opel: Also Andreas Marx.
Peugeot: Still Haico van der Luyt.
Light Commercial Vehicles will become a separate business unit with profit responsibility. Pascal Martens will continue to head the department.
A Customer Management Office (CMO), which will continue to be managed by Christine Schulze Tergeist, is responsible for the areas of media, digital & CRM and online sales across all brands.
The Customer Experience department (headed by Hans-Peter Leitmann) will be a central function with a view to all customer-oriented processes. The goal is to ensure Stellantis is #1 in customer satisfaction.
Additional overarching functions will support the brands and business areas:
B2B: Marcus Hoffmann continues to lead
Aftersales: Management remains Davide Ivac
Used cars: Harald Koch remains in charge
Network development: Head of Johannes Alings, previously responsible for “Distribution Strategy” at the global level in the Stellantis organization. He succeeds Jens Nagl, who will take on a new management role within the Group.
Communications: Lead (Director) Sascha Wolfinger, currently Head of Product Communications Stellantis Germany. He succeeds Michael Göntgens, who will take on a new management position in the Group from January 2024 following parental leave.
