The Stellantis Group is strengthening its position in an African market with very high potential thanks to AUTO24, a platform dedicated to used vehicles.
AUTO24.africaan innovative platform in the field of used cars, has just announced on Tuesday September 26 the continuation of its expansion into four new African markets: Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal and South Africa. AUTO24 is a subsidiary of the Africar group, in which Stellantis is a majority shareholder. This expansion comes following a remarkably successful installation that was initiated earlier in Ivory Coast. It thus allows the platform to become the first multi-brand retailer of used cars on a continental level.
A market for second-hand Stellantis
This investment constitutes a new cornerstone in Stellantis’ global strategy which aims to develop its portfolio of mobility solutions and of course to offer new outlets for its used car fleet. Estimated at nearly 50 million vehicles in circulation, the African market is a major challenge for European manufacturers but also a preferred target for new Chinese players.

The platform also offers financing options developed in close collaboration with various partners. These multiple advantages constitute a first in Africa.
In Africa and the Middle East, Stellantis is currently the third automobile manufacturer which aims to become the leader in market share, with more than one million new vehicles sold per year by 2030.
