Stefano, how would you describe yourself?

I see myself as a good person.

What is a characteristic gesture of yours?

I greet everyone as soon as I wake up.

That speaks volumes.

Being kind involves cultivating kindness.

That’s well-understood…

What’s the point of being nice out on the street if you go home and mistreat your children or cheat on your spouse?

Are you a believer in loyalty?

I value loyalty not only in relationships but also in friendships and work…

You mentioned loyalty…

It’s the most crucial trait for me.

Do you trust more in words or in signed contracts?

They are different things. I don’t go through life trusting easily.

HE DID A CASTING ABROAD

Speaking of work, have you had any advantages in auditions due to being Christian Meier’s son?

Like any other actor, I have gone through numerous auditions, including abroad.

Have you experienced any bias because of your famous surname?

Not at all. The competition is high, especially abroad, and they won’t choose someone just because of their last name.

Must be disappointing to audition and not get selected…

An actor must understand that not being selected is not a reflection of their talent, but simply a matter of not fitting the role that producers are looking for.

Can you provide an example?

Last year, I auditioned for a film role, I wasn’t initially chosen. However, three weeks later, they offered me a different role in the same film.

An actress once said to me: ‘The true job of an actor is going to auditions’…

Going to auditions is unpaid work. You invest time and effort, often without any acknowledgment.

Do you have any fan encounters?

Fans have always treated me with respect, and I reciprocate. Although, there was one memorable incident…

Tell us regarding it…

After a martial arts training session, some friends and I stopped to eat chicken. A group of schoolgirls recognized me, and despite being sweaty and disheveled, I kindly took photos with them.

It seems like being into martial arts helps you connect with others…

I believe in being calm and able to defend oneself.

Stefano Meier was quite mischievous as a child

Were you always this way?

As a kid, I was always up to something.

Did you win more fights or lose them?

I like to think I’ve experienced both sides.

Were you successful with the girls?

I’m currently single, so not much success there, ha, ha, ha.

Are you a romantic?

I can be. When I’m truly interested in someone, I become romantic.

Can you share a romantic gesture you’ve done?

Once, in the middle of winter, I went to the beach at 5 AM and took a dip in the sea for a girl I really liked.

Have you ever been deceived?

I think so.

Care to explain?

Once, right following breaking up with a girl, she quickly moved on to someone else in our social circle.

You mentioned sports, do you play soccer?

I used to play soccer, but it’s been a year since I kicked a ball.

What was your position on the field?

I played as a right winger.

What’s a key feature of your playing style?

I’m fast.

Do you have a favorite team?

I support Universitario in Peru, and Chelsea in Europe.

Is supporting your dad’s team a family tradition?

Yes, both my father’s and mother’s families are fans of Universitario.

Why do you admire the English team?

I became a fan when Lampard, David Luiz, and Courtois played for them. It was a great team.

Has anyone ever flirted with a girl claiming to be associated with you?

Not that I know of, but who knows, maybe behind my back, ha ha. I have good friends.

When will you play the role of a villain?

Currently, being part of ‘The Other Conchas’ is an honor, and I believe my characters have depth.

Is there a vice you’re trying to overcome?

I have a weakness for sweets.

Do you splurge on clothes shopping?

I try to be budget-conscious.

Sending you warm regards…

Thank you.
