Not an easy year for the “Always Sundays” presenter and pop singer Stefan Mross. Only negative articles regarding him have recently appeared in the headlines. Now he takes a stand.
Rust – Stefan Mross (47) speaks in the podcast “Assenheimers Promitalk” with moderator Jörg Assenheimer (53) more openly than ever regarding the past few months, which have not been easy for him. One negative headline followed the other. According to the “Always Sunday” moderator, there was also an incident in which paparazzi and journalists clearly crossed a line with him.

The hit star has been moderating “Always Again on Sundays” since 2005 and was successful with his music even before his career as a moderator. Mross has known a life of media attention since the beginning of his musical career.
But the year 2023 has so far been characterized by negative headlines regarding the 47-year-old and, according to Mross, “a targeted campaign once morest him”: there was talk of alleged alcohol consumption, to which Stefan Mross also commented in the podcast, a penalty order for bodily harm and coercion, as well as the separation of his wife Anna-Carina Woitschack (30) caused a sensation in the media.

Mross says in an interview: “One must never forget: Behind every headline lives or reigns a soul. I am just a human”. The native Bavarian also says that when looking for negative headlines, “you always find something”.
Particularly sensitive: A neighbor of Mross scared away a paparazzi on his property following he had searched through the pop singer’s garbage. Mross reveals that his colleague and friend Florian Silbereisen (41) knows such situations and drew his attention to them.

The show has been broadcast on Sunday mornings on ARD during the summer months since 1995. The name of the show refers to the hit classic by the duo Cindy & Bert, who achieved chart success at number three in 1973 with the title “Immer wieder Sundays”.

However, Mross might not imagine that such a garbage experience would happen to him until it actually happened. He said to Florian Silbereisen unbelievably: “You don’t have all the fruit on the tree! Never, I don’t believe you!” So the musician mightn’t understand why his privacy was being invaded in this way: “Now it happened to us and I have to say: ‘That’s the bottom line for me!'”

However, the moderator can currently look forward to a short breather, because “Always Sundays” will pause on July 30th before the show will continue as usual on Sunday (August 6th). In the last edition on July 16, Stefan Mross mightn’t resist a swipe at his ex Anna-Carina Woitschack following she canceled her appearance on the show.
