Steel City Stands Strong: Kryvyi Rih’s Unyielding Defiance Updates

Good evening, dear compatriots! Briefly about the results of Tuesday.

– As for Kryvyi Rih as a whole, despite all the difficulties, our city continues to work for a joint victory over the enemy. All services, hospitals and social institutions are working.

– The city continues to provide assistance to residents whose apartments and houses were damaged by enemy shelling. Thus, after the missile attack on September 21, 122 applications for material assistance were accepted from the city, and after the attack on September 27 – 48 applications. Material assistance to 160 families in the amount of UAH 3,624,000 has already been paid from the city budget. Another 10 families will receive assistance in the amount of UAH 228.5 thousand. in the near future. And those families, whose houses were destroyed and cannot be restored, after the completion of all procedures required by law, funds will be paid for the purchase of another home.

In Kryvyi Rih, a unique program of assistance to residents whose houses were damaged by enemy strikes was created and operates. These are direct payments from the city budget for the purchase of housing for those whose apartments are not subject to restoration and for repairs where necessary. Such an aid program is available only in two cities of Ukraine. Since the beginning of this year, 1,989 families from Kryvyi Rih, whose houses and apartments were damaged by enemy attacks, have received assistance from the city in the total amount of UAH 41,439,589, and since the beginning of the war, assistance has been provided to 5,113 families in the amount of UAH 155,394,000. 447 hryvnias

– Forced migrants continue to arrive in the city. Since the beginning of this year, 4,033 displaced persons have already been officially registered in Kryvyi Rih, 103 over the past week. Since the beginning of the war, 82,018 refugees have been officially registered in the city. Kryvyi Rih is a city with a big heart – everyone is provided with the necessary social assistance, and if necessary, medical and psychological.

– As for the situation in our direction of the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, our soldiers continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces. According to the General Staff, the total losses of the enemy over the past day amounted to 1,340 occupiers, 7 tanks, 30 self-propelled guns, 47 artillery systems, 1 anti-aircraft vehicle, 83 units. car and 9 units special equipment. We thank our Defenders for their daily feat!

– In our direction in the Nikopol district, the enemy attacked Nikopol, Marganetska, Myrivska, Chervonogrigorivska and Pokrovsk communities with heavy artillery, anti-aircraft missiles and kamikaze drones. Damaged infrastructure. No losses.

– At night, the enemy again attacked Ukraine with missiles and attack UAVs. In the sky over our region, 1 unmanned aerial vehicle of the “Shaheed” type was shot down. Thank you Air Defense Forces!

– There was no shelling in the Kryvorizka district. But, dear compatriots, the threat of enemy attacks remains, so follow the rules of the air alert.

– But about our peaceful victories. At the All-Ukrainian Boxing Tournament in memory of Oleksandr Yanchenko, which took place in the city of Kam’yanske, the pupils of Kryvyi Rih Secondary School No. 8 demonstrated excellent results. Oleksandr Kravchenko won the gold medal, and Nikita Leshakov won the bronze.

And the pupils of the State Secondary School No. 8 represented Kryvyi Rih worthily at the Artistic Gymnastics Tournament “Charivnytsia”, which was held in Kropyvnytskyi. Our athletes won 6 “gold”, 2 “silver” and 2 “bronze” awards. Congratulations to our athletes, their parents and coaches!
