Steam: Valve will soon end support for Windows 7 and 8 – Games

It was a good run that Windows 7, released in 2009, had. The successor to the moderately popular Vista eliminated many of its weaknesses, throttled its thirst for resources and was also very stable. No wonder that over time it was able to replace the highly successful Windows XP. For various reasons, the fate of the “Windows intermediate version” overtook its successor, Windows 8.
