For the third time in January 2022, Steam updated the peak online record. On January 23 at 17:30 Moscow time, more than 29.1 million users were on the platform at the same time.
In January, Steam already twice updated the record for the simultaneous number of users. On January 2, 27.9 million people were recorded at the peak, and on January 9, 28.2 million users. The most popular games by the number of concurrent players on Steam are CS:GO, Dota 2 and PUBG.
Previously became knownthat God of War retained its leadership in the weekly Steam chart – the game was released on PC on January 15 and has not left the top in sales since then. The top three titles also included Monster Hunter Rise, Ready or Not, Dying Light 2 Stay Human and Elden Ring – the latter two are only available for pre-order.
