Valve has published a schedule of sales and festivals on Steam for the first half of 2024. At the same time, the studio announced new events and opened registration for participation in them for developers.
Steam Sales and Festivals:
- festival of capitalism and economics – January 8–15;
- festival “Pirates vs. Ninjas” – January 22-29;
- Festival “Games to Be” – February 5–12;
- Remote Play Together – February 12-19;
- Festival “Dinosaurs vs. Robots” – from February 26 to March 4;
- spring sale – March 14–21;
- deckbuilding festival – from March 25 to April 1;
- First Person Shooter Festival – April 15-22;
- the festival of farming — from April 29 to May 6;
- Festival of Infinite Replayability – May 13–20;
- festival of survival and crafting in the open world – from May 27 to June 3;
- Festival “Games to Be” – June 10–17;
- summer sale – from June 27 to July 11.
Valve has previously announced its intention to hold some of these events, but the current list includes six more new ones. In addition to the traditional summer sale and the Play to Be festival, the first half of 2024 will feature events dedicated to first-person shooters, farming, endless replayability, as well as survival and open-world crafting.
