They report an earthquake of magnitude 3.3, which occurred 70 km east of Socaire and at a depth of 213 km.

08:11 hours

Earthquake of magnitude 3.3, located 77 km south of Socaire and at a depth of 236 km.

06:12 hours

Tremor of magnitude 3.0, occurred 33 km north of Calama and regarding 120 km deep.

00:55 hours

Earthquake of magnitude 3.5, with epicenter 20 km north of Taltal and regarding 55 km deep.

The National Disaster Prevention and Response Service provided some recommendations on what to do when an earthquake occurs.

Stay calm and look for a place of seismic protection.

Protect yourself under a firm element. If this is not possible, stay next to the same object.

Turn off the electricity and close the water and gas valves.

If you are on the street, stay away from buildings, poles and electrical cables.

If you are at a mass event, the person must stay in place and protect their head and neck with their arms. In addition, you will also have to follow the instructions of those in charge of security at the venue.

If you are driving in a tunnel, bridge or highway, you should slow down and stop following leaving the area.
