Dr. Ahmed Mahrous, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in New Valley, confirmed in a statement that the level of maximum readiness had been raised in hospitals and health units at the level of the five governorate centers, and that the necessary preparations had been made to receive cases of people suffering from heat exhaustion as a result of the extreme rise in temperatures.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the New Valley Governorate indicated that citizens must avoid direct exposure to the scorching rays of the sun during the heat wave, especially at peak times throughout the daylight hours until the time the sun wave breaks at 4:30 p.m., and it is also preferable for patients with blood pressure and diabetes not to go out. And the sinuses and respiratory system, except for extreme necessity.
