State-of-the-art comprehensive care units for women are activated

President Nicolás Maduro announced this Saturday that state-of-the-art comprehensive care units for women have been activated.

During a work day within the framework of the Great Venezuela Women Mission from Maturín, Monagas state, the president made the announcement. He assured that the care units have already been delivered to hospitals and health centers throughout the national territory.

Maduro assured that they arrived “All the latest generation equipment will be installed in the next few days, 26 comprehensive care units for women throughout the country”.

For her part, Delcy Rodríguez, Executive Vice President, described that these units can be used to perform bone densitometry, mammography, ultrasound, cytology, laboratory, gynecology and obstetrics tests, among others.

He also noted that “The most important thing about all of this is the door-to-door visits throughout the country, where we provide immunization, general medicine, pediatrics, and other services. In this way, we register and do everything for free.”
