The atmosphere was lively on Tuesday evening in the Palladium room, which hosted the staff meeting of the State of Geneva following a strike during the followingnoon. To the point that a new walkout was voted on: it will take place on November 23 from 3 p.m., with an appointment given in the Old Town to welcome the deputies of the Grand Council who will come to sit. The staff thus wants to put pressure on the cantonal parliament so that it approves the new positions provided for in the 2024 draft state budget. The right has already given signals indicating that it would not take up all of the 356 positions proposed by the Council of State.
