The State Duma Council will “prepare a tough” statement on the situation in Ukraine. It will be addressed to international parliamentary organizations and the UN, said the head of the Just Russia – For Truth faction, Sergei Mironov.
“It was decided that we will prepare a statement by the Duma Council, and on Thursday, August 25, the leaders of the faction will meet once more in the morning together with the chairman [Госдумы Вячеславом Володиным]approximately at 15:00 we will convene the Council of the Duma, where our tough statement will be adopted,” Mironov told reporters.
TASS clarifies that the statement will concern the situation around the Zaporozhye NPP.
The press service of the State Duma confirmed the intention to hold a meeting of the Council on August 25 on the issue of ZNPP security. Also at today’s meeting Volodin with the leaders of the factions discussed the tragic death of Darya Dugina.
