State budget revenue reaches almost 55.7 billion USD

Of this total, domestic revenue reached 88.9% of estimates, up 18.8%; those derived from crude oil, 213% and +103.5% and those from production and business activities, 108.8% and +22.1%.

With this revenue momentum and a GDP growth forecast of 7-7.5% for 2022 by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance expects state budget revenues in 2022 exceed the annual plan by 1.41 trillion VND.

Also in the first nine months of the year, the total expenditure of the state budget amounted to 1,086.3 trillion VND, or 60.8 percent of the annual plan, up 5.4 percent from in the same period of 2021.

The expenditures were aimed at meeting the demand for socio-economic development, defense and security, state management and the payment of debts as well as the prevention of epidemics and the mitigation of natural disasters.
