Strasbourg (ots) – No festival summer without ARTE! ARTE Concert is once more on the road at various festivals this year and provides the online audience with live streams from some of the hottest open-air stages in Europe – whether rock, pop, electro, jazz, metal, opera or classical music! The station will kick things off on June 9th and 10th with live broadcasts from this year’s “Elbjazz” in Hamburg. In June, viewers can also expect streams from “Hellfest” in Clisson, France, “Hurricane” in Scheeßel, Lower Saxony, and the hip-hop festival “splash!” from Ferropolis.
Elbe Jazz | June 9 and 10, 2023
On June 9th and 10th, 2023, the “Elbjazz” will once once more transform the port of Hamburg into a spectacular melting pot for live music for two days. The term jazz is not understood as a specific genre, but as a question of attitude, stylistically the field is open. The musical spectrum ranges from piano and fusion jazz to swing, funk and soul to hip-hop, pop and folk. Among others, Salomea, The Jakob Manz Projekt, Camilla George, the NDR BigBand & Omar Sosa, Adi Oasis, Jazzkantine, and many more will be there.

In July and August, ARTE continues its cross-genre festival tour, with live streams from Europavox, La Route du Rock, Summer Breeze, Nature One, Jazzopen Stuttgart, Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Salzburg Festival and other festivals.
