Start monthly payment to families beneficiaries of Tekoporã Mbarete

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Government, through the Ministry of Social Development, enables as of this Wednesday 24th the monthly payment of the Tekoporã Mbarete program, in the form of debit cards and counter payments.

It is also reported that the payment corresponding to this social program is made on the same date that the Senior Citizens receive their pay.

Since the assumption of the new government of President Santiago Peña, the program has been renamed Tekoporã Mbarete, granting a 25% increase in conditional money transfers.

More than 95% of families receive their payments on a monthly basis, a modality established by the current Government, so that the transfers reach the beneficiaries in a timely manner.

Last June, the Government began the process for the inclusion of 13,000 new participants, this time in departments not prioritized in the first stage of this plan.

Seniors, Veterans and other pensioners

The Ministry of Economy and Finance will make this Wednesday the payment for senior citizens, veterans of the Chaco War, pensioners eligible for free, heirs of veterans, heirs of police officers and military personnel who died in service, who belong to the non-contributory sector of the State, according to the schedule planned for July.

For this purpose, the General Directorate of the Public Treasury, dependent on the State Financial Management Department, plans to disburse a total of G. 218,534 million.

Pension and subsidy payments will reach 312,674 people, with the largest group being senior citizens, who number 307,305 beneficiaries.

In addition, 4,643 heirs of veterans, 421 heirs of military and police officers who died in the line of duty, 301 beneficiaries of ex gratia pensioners and 4 veterans of the Chaco War receive state contributions.

With the new Government administration, the Ministry of Economy and Finance pays veterans, senior citizens and other pensioners on the first day of the schedule, thus prioritizing the most vulnerable sectors.
