Start der "Diversity Weeks 2024"!

Vienna (OTS) – The “Diversity Weeks 2024”, which will take place nationwide for the first time from May 13th to June 9th, is an initiative by ALPHA plus in cooperation with numerous companies and organizations in Austria to celebrate and actively promote diversity. The project is part of the new “Diversity Alliance” platform, which consists of a total of 9 initiatives.

Under the umbrella of “Diversity Weeks 2024”, a colorful mix of cooperation partners organizes a wide range of events and activities. These range from intercultural events, workshops and discussions to sports and leisure activities.

The project is supported by the City of Vienna – Integration and Diversity. The main media partner is W24. Christoph Wiederkehr, Executive City Councilor for Education, Youth, Integration and Transparency and Vice Mayor of the City of Vienna about the “Diversity Weeks”: “How empty would Vienna be without its diversity? Our differences make us strong and unique. Vienna is a cosmopolitan city, proud of its diversity and the values that unite us. We strive to be an inclusive society that honors all who contribute to this goal.”

Dino Schosche, Managing Director of ALPHA plus and initiator of the Diversity Alliance platform, about the project premiere: “At the beginning there is diversity, at the end there is inclusion. We are very pleased to be taking part of this important journey together with numerous partners who make a valuable contribution every day to bring the goal closer.
