Starfield’s Big Update for Early Access: We Know the Details | Xbox One

A few days before the official launch of Starfield for the happy owners of the early access versions, Bethesda is deploying a major update fixing problems inherent in quite varied parts of the game.

Starfield 1.7.23 Adds Virtual Keyboard for Steam Deck and More

This first patch named Starfield 1.7.23 was presented by Insider Gaming in detail. We discover many patches related to the visual aspect of the game, the gameplay or its balancing. Bethesda clearly wants to take care of the public release of its game and these attentions show it concretely.

In addition, the addition of the virtual keyboard for players on Steam Deck is another important element and Insider Gaming reports that they have received a document addressing the compatibility of the portable console of Steam and the game. We can read in particular this :

“Starfield will work on both the Steam Deck and ROG Ally with the correct drivers, but hardware below the minimum recommended specs might result in poorer performance”

Performance and stability fixes
