First steps in space
The least we can say, is that Starfield is a titanic project that requires time and rigor on the part of Bethesda. So to speak, this is the first new franchise designed by the studio for twenty years, a shot that the firm must fit perfectly: we are talking, moreover, of a game with a probably huge budget. In short, the ambitions seem great but alas, we still haven’t had any gameplay images to enjoy.
However, lThe curious can always fall back on this handful of screenshots, which would come from an earlier version of Starfielddated 2018. 2018 is precisely the year of the announcement of the game, unveiled through a very first enigmatic trailer. These few images highlight futuristic environments as well as the playable character, with a third-person view. The interface displays a life bar, an endurance bar and an oxygen bar, allowing space exploration. And then… that’s regarding it.
A game to “lose your mind”
A new trailer communicated several months ago made it possible to see things a little more clearly with finally real cutscenes (in real time?); likewise, we were entitled to several developer diaries, advancing the considerable freedom of action for which the players will be able to opt.
Not long ago, a developer from Bethesda raised the tension by claiming in a press release that the game would make its audience dizzyas the systems would work well and the scale of the adventure would be significant. Pretty speeches which should logically be dressed in a real presentation soon: we remind you that Starfield is due out on PC and Xbox on November 11, 2022.
