Existed, because it is now ancient history. Indeed, Microsoft quietly withdrew this offer just recently. The fault, no doubt, with the arrival of Starfield. Would that have motivated too many players to pay a euro, to rush the game and finish it without having to buy it? It seems possible.
The disappearance of this offer was particularly noticed by the user of X (ex-Twitter) @Wario64. Microsoft simply withdrew the offer. The latter no longer appears on the French site, nor even on the American site (where it was set at one US dollar, or 0.93 euros, for those who would be interested).

In order to take advantage of Microsoft’s title, it will therefore be necessary to pay at least for a whole month. A slightly larger expense than the almost symbolic 15-day trial euro. However, this will prevent various players from taking advantage of it. Microsoft is therefore betting on the popularity of Starfield, which could take advantage of DLSS 2 and 3 as soon as it is released, to attract players.
This is understandable, since Starfield is a huge new-gen era exclusive for Xbox. Expectations for this title are high. This game could precisely make it possible to multiply subscriptions and sales. To the detriment of those who were waiting for the game to be released to use their 15-day one-euro trial. They will also have to pay more, since the rates have increased.
Still, certain actions of Microsoft could have put the chip in the ears of the players. So the Xbox Game Pass offer is already gone. The latter had been removed a few months earlier. It remains to be seen if it will return, after the release of Starfield, on September 6 on PC and Xbox Series X and S (with early access from August 31). The game is already downloadable for the Xbox Series consoles.
