At the beginning of the broadcast, moderator Marek Eben emphasized that the 13th season of StarDance has unprecedented viewership. The start of the competition attracted 1.63 million viewers and it was the best start since 2008. No wonder the level of dancers is really high this year. Even so, someone had to drop out in the second round. In the end, singer Ondřej Ruml and his dance partner Andrea Třeštiková received the fewest votes from the audience. “My daughter Rozárka said to me today: ‘Dad, I don’t want you to drop out.’ That was so nice. But then she added: ‘I want the lady to keep watching over me.’ She took a liking to our babysitter,” Ruml laughed and added: “I’m sorry, Rózi, I’ll babysit you again!” ?
Busy Filip Blažek
Although Filip Blažek looks like a tough guy, he had a huge stage fright before the first round. When he danced the waltz on the second evening, he seemed much more confident. “I still have concerns, but the main thing is to enjoy it. The nervousness will always be there. I’ve never danced, so it’s something completely new for me, but Adriana and I always say that we dance mainly for ourselves,” Filip told us after the broadcast. And how did he feel about the final decision? “Just for a tiny hundredth of a second, I thought I’d get rid of the stress, but it passed right away and of course I’m glad to be here,” he laughed.
Grateful and humble Jana Paulová
While the first night went well for Jana Paulová and her dance partner Robin Ondráček, she limped a little in the samba and mixed up her steps. But when the final verdict was given and the actress learned that the audience would see her in the next round, she beamed. “I’m terribly happy and grateful that I’m here and we can continue dancing,” she confided to us, describing what exactly happened on the dance floor: “I tried to disguise with all my talent that I flew away to my own world for a while.”
As soon as one of the pair starts improvising, it’s not easy for the other. We therefore asked Robin directly about his feelings. “It was a slight shock to me. It happened so fast that I didn’t understand for a while. But like a snap of a finger, we went back to the choreography and everything went according to plan,” he described. In this way, Jana confirmed that Robin is her partner to the point of discomfort and that they got along great not only professionally, but also from a human point of view. “He is my rock,” says the actress, who did not forget to thank the overwhelming support she receives from the audience. “I am moved by it. I have never experienced anything like this and I appreciate that I am worth it to people to reach out to me and write to me.”

Chili Ta as the thirteenth series icon
No matter where the chef and influencer ends up in the thirteenth season of StarDance, she has already made history. Nobody has ever had what happened to her on the second final night – her dress tore and it was only a matter of time before she or her dance partner Jakub Mazůch slipped on it. Fortunately, the worst did not happen, although everyone in the hall and at the screens held their breath! “I’m incredibly happy that we stuck it out and finished the dance. That was a miracle. Of course, similar files also happen in my kitchen, but they are definitely not watched by half of the country and it is not broadcast live,” Chili Ta told us with a smile.
After they finished dancing, the camera also took her parents, who were sitting in the audience. And they both laughed! “It doesn’t surprise me at all, because they are the ones who always tell me – don’t make a big deal out of it.” But he sees it as a test and a valuable experience. “I am a hard worker and I always want to be in control of everything. I have everything trained and then something unexpected like this happens! Like the universe was trying to tell me something. That I have someone to lean on and I have a person next to me that I can rely on,” she told us, tears welling up in her eyes. “I was moved!”
In the end, the jury awarded the couple 23 points. “I know it was out of solidarity and empathy and I really appreciate that. I hope that next time we will earn so many points with a performance, not such a tragedy.”
StarDance Season 13: A Chaotic Start!
What a Premiere!
Well, ladies and gentlemen, grab your sequins and your best pair of dancing shoes because the 13th season of StarDance has kicked off with a bang! And by ‘bang,’ I mean a staggering 1.63 million viewers tuning in like it was the last slice of pizza at a party! It’s clear the contestants are bringing their A-game, because if the viewership is any indication, they’re dancing like their careers depend on it… because, well, they kind of do!
Goodbye Ondřej Ruml!
In a twist that would make even the most seasoned soap opera star raise an eyebrow, singer Ondřej Ruml and his dance partner Andrea Třeštiková were the first to be sent packing! Not before delivering a line that could only be described as touching comedy gold: “I’m sorry, Rózi, I’ll babysit you again!” Ah, the agony of losing a dance competition—when your biggest fan wants the babysitter to take home the trophy instead!
Filip Blažek: A Tough Guy with Dance Fright
Next up, we’ve got Filip Blažek. He might look like he can crush a car with his bare hands, but put him on the dance floor, and suddenly he’s all nerves and shaky limbs! “I still have concerns,” he said, probably while still wearing his wrestling outfit! But he seems to have wooed the audience with his, erm… unique way of stepping on toes—metaphorically, of course.
Jana Paulová’s Samba Struggles
Jana Paulová brought a glittering energy to the stage… and a minor mess with her samba. Picture this: one minute she’s dazzling and the next, she’s “lost in her own world.” Robin Ondráček, bless him, had to pick up the slack as she went rogue. Honestly, it sounds less like dancing and more like a police chase! But when she found out they were safe for the next round, her smile could have powered a small village.
Chili Ta: Fashion Meltdown
Now, let’s talk about the true drama queen of the evening: Chili Ta. While her dress metamorphosed into a couple of swatches of fabric on stage, she and her partner Jakub Mazůch somehow managed to finish their dance. Remind me again—wasn’t this StarDance and not Project Runway? But amidst the chaos, she found a moment to tear up and thank her audience, which got me a little misty-eyed myself. “I always want to be in control,” she lamented, transforming an awkward costume malfunction into a metaphor for life itself. Ah, isn’t that just *so* relatable?
