Mumbai: India captain Virat Kohli is in poor form in Test cricket. The last time the Indian captain scored a century was in November 2019. The batting average in Tests for the last two years is 26. The Australian Channel 7 cricket also posted a tweet mocking Kohli’s poor performance. But Wasim Jaffer, India’s former captain, did not like it. Wasim Jaffer responded with a sigh of relief.
The channel joked that Australia’s pace bowler Mitchell Starc has a better batting average than Virat Kohli. They also provided a picture of the two batting. Stark’s average is 38.63. Koli has 37.17.
Jaffer responded by comparing Indian pace bowler Navdeep Saini to Australian batsman Steve Smith in ODI batting average. Smith’s average is 43.34 and Navdeep’s is 53.50.
