Game news Star Wars The Old Republic: the Legacy of the Sith expansion releases a new trailer, between powers and dark forces

The Star Wars MMO The Old Republic is still not tired, quite the contrary even since it will soon welcome its new extension, Legacy of the Sith. Here is a new video preview, just to get you started.

Safe Guys of the Sith

Launched in December 2011 by BioWare, the illustrious studio behind Dragon Age Where Mass Effect, Star Wars The Old Republic hold on. So much so that to celebrate its first ten years, Canadian developers are preparing to release a brand new massive expansion that will bear the sweet name of Legacy of the Sith.

On the program, a lot of dangers to overcome for great rewards: Darth Malgus will be at the center of the plot, he who has a solid plan to get his hands on an entire and very important planet, Manaan. It is indeed him who is in question today since he is the narrator of this brand new trailer, which you can enjoy above, and which focuses precisely on the story of this next DLC. An antagonist who doesn’t seem to be joking much and who we advise you not to invite to the end of the year celebrations.

I need more power

Obviously, this big additional content will also be an opportunity to terribly refresh the experience of the game, which is beginning to show the weight of the years. First, let’s remember that it will finally be possible to go even further in the experience levels, up to stage 80, to be precise. To do this, players will be able to support themselves with new collaborative missions or a plethora of new varied environments, eyeing both temples and abandoned space stations.

Also and above all, it’s the gameplay itself that will experience a second life: combat styles will be the main novelty, making it possible to greatly vary the gameplay by giving the player the possibility of combining several powers, coming from different classes and adepts of the Force. A very nice way to modernize a title released two generations ago.

See you next February 15 on PC, and not elsewhere.
