Star Wars Outlaws is now available to download with a new season
Ubisoft, in partnership with Lucasfilm Games, today announced that Star Wars Outlaws, the first open-world Star Wars game, is now available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 consoles, and PCs via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
With development led by Massive Entertainment*, Star Wars Outlaws invites players to experience the Star Wars galaxy like never before in an original story set between the films “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.”
Fans who purchase the Ultimate Edition will receive the Season Pass, two additional cosmetic packs, and a digital art book.
As the Galactic Empire seeks to defeat the Rebel Alliance once and for all, the criminal underworld thrives. Fans will play as cunning con artist Kay Vess (Humberly Gonzalez) and her loyal companion Nix (Dee Bradley Baker, “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”) as they attempt to pull off one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen. In search of the means to start a new life, players will join Kay and Nix as they fight, steal and outwit crime syndicates to become the galaxy’s most wanted.
In Star Wars Outlaws, Kay and Nix seek the opportunity of a lifetime. During this era, the Empire’s rule is distracted by the relentless rebellion, ushering in a golden age for the underworld. Kay’s exploits as a skilled thief catch the eye of Sliro, the leader of the new and menacing Zerek Besh crime syndicate.
When Sliro places a bounty on Kay’s head, she and Nix are given a one-time chance at freedom: to pull off one of the biggest heists of all time. To do so, the duo must navigate the galaxy’s underworld, building their reputations with legendary criminal organizations including the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Cartel, the Ashiga Clan, and the Crimson Dawn—evolving from street thieves to skilled outlaws.
stealth and gadgets
Kay and Nix can turn any situation to their advantage: utilizing stealth and gadgets to buy time, using Nix to distract and draw enemies away, or engaging in combat with blaster weapons in tense situations along the way. To pull off the ultimate heist, Kay and Nix will seek out and team up with a cast of outlaws, including the combat droid ND-5 (Jay Rincon). As they steal valuable goods, infiltrate secret locations, and outwit enemies, they will need to carefully consider how their choices affect their status with the Syndicates, as every move will influence Kay’s real-time reputation.
Character Features in Star Wars Outlaws
To gather the resources and personnel for the ultimate heist, Kay and Nix will travel across the galaxy and explore new and iconic locations: Canto Bight, Kijimi, Tatooine, Akiva, and the windswept savanna of Toshara. Along the way, Kay will explore bustling cities and cantinas, cruise through vast open-air landscapes in her speeder, and pilot her Trailblazer ship through the far reaches of space. When things go wrong, the Trailblazer will also help them pursue, evade, and attack, giving them the upper hand in exciting space dogfights with the Empire and other enemies.

The Season Pass included in the Gold and Ultimate editions offers:
• Exclusive “Jabba’s Gambit” Mission: All players will encounter Jabba The Hutt in the main game, but those with access to the Season Pass will gain an additional mission from the infamous Hutt Cartel. As Kay is assembling her team for her big heist, she is tasked with a mission from Jabba himself, who has come to collect on a debt that ND-5 owes the Hutts.
• “Kessel Runner Character Pack” cosmetic pack: includes costumes for the rogue Kay Vess and her companion, Nix.
• Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card Story Pack – Coming Q4 2024 (Spring)
Kay is hired to infiltrate a risky Sabacc tournament, but when she crosses paths with the famous and controversial Lando Calrissian she soon discovers that another game is underway.
o When this first story pack launches, Season Pass owners will also receive the Hunter’s Legacy Pack and the Ronin Cartel Pack, featuring additional outfits for Kay and Nix, as well as cosmetic items for Kay’s speeder and her ship, the Trailblaze.
• Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune Story Pack – Coming Q2 2025 (Fall)
The Trailblazer’s reputation precedes Kay when she encounters veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who wants to settle a score with a ruthless gang of pirates.
