Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is having a very complicated launch. If the title seems overall to offer gameplay and a story that meets expectations, its technique is lacking and the performance is very average, whether on Xbox Series X | S, PS5 or PC. Aware of the problems even before the game was released, the studio promised updates, and a first patch will be available shortly.

An update is coming to consoles

While a first patch aimed at improving non-ray tracing performance is already available on PC, an update for the Xbox Series X | S and PS5 versions will arrive during the day. Various graphical bugs and crashes should be fixed, while the studio also promises performance improvements.

Today a hotfix is ​​available for the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and tomorrow (5/2) we will also be releasing a hotfix for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

We are hard at work on fixes that will further improve performance and fix bugs on all platforms. More updates are planned for all platforms, and we’ll let you know the schedule as soon as it’s available.

As expected, more updates will be released in the coming weeks to further improve performance.

  • Fixed an issue with dynamic fabric inside the mantis.
  • Fixed various rendering issues.
  • Fixed an issue with saved Nekko colors not saving.
  • Fixed an issue with registered Nekkos disappearing from the stable.
  • Fixed an issue with cutscene dialogues overlapping.
  • Fixed various collision issues.
  • Fixed an issue with enemy Al staying in “T pose” in photo mode.
  • Fixed a freeze that occasionally occurred when talking to Doma.
  • Fixed an issue where comic book VFX were not rendering correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where players would get stuck inside the Chamber of Duality if you didn’t save after leaving the chamber and dying.
