A special relationship linked the late comedian Samir Ghanem to his two daughters, “Dunia” and “Amy”, and he talked regarding her in more than one television interview.
In a television interview with the artist Safaa Abu Al-Saud on the “ART” channel, the late Samir Ghanem spoke regarding his preservation of prayer and reading the Qur’an, saying: “Praise be to God, but this is a need between me and myself and our Lord … but praise be to God Hafez.”
Safaa Abu Al-Saud asked “Ghanim” a question, the content of which is: “Prayer is following the girl what she told you?” To reply that “Dunia” is always keen to repeat the supplication: “A paper that you give me.. you must say it now and before the stage and write to them.. you can’t take a word from me that it will not fall to the ground.”
Samir Ghanem recounted a situation he collected with “Dunia” when she asked him to pray one day: “She asked me once, Papa, I prayed, and I answered her what I prayed yesterday.. She exposed me and spoke to her friends because she is related to me, because I am a father who is not violent, so my role is to advise and guide between right and wrong,” pointing to His wife, Dalal Abdulaziz, is very close to God Almighty, especially in the month of Ramadan.
It is worth noting that the artist Samir Ghanem, died in May 2021 following a struggle with illness following he was placed on respirators, and his wife, Dalal Abdel Aziz, followed him shortly following, when she died on August 7, 2021.
