This week, the “linked destinies” test returned to the castle. The duos had the choice from a panel of compulsory songs. In addition to singing, they had to present a contemporary choreography imposed by dance teacher Malika Benjelloun with an improvised part at the end.
The first duo to pass, Clara and Julien decided to perform a song with vocals by Patrick Fiori and Florent Pagny entitled “J’y Allez”, a duet which came very naturally according to the young candidate. Second duo to pass in front of the teaching staff, Héléna accompanied by her sidekick Marie-Maud. For the Belgian, the duo with Marie-Maud was obvious. Smiling, they decided to sing “Song regarding my funny life” by Véronique Sanson. Third duet, Margot and Victorien sang “Because it’s you” by Vianney and Mentissa. “We are not the big voices in the castle and we have both already been nominated so it is a risk, we are aware of it,” admitted Margot. Then, Lénie and Djebril, for their part, chose a song by Maurane and Lara Fabien “You are my other”. A performance praised by the teachers. Finally, Candice and Pierre also chose to sing “Parce que c’est toi” by Vianney and Mentissa.
Four named on the bench
After deliberation by the jury, the pairs Clara/Julien and Héléna/Marie-Maud did not succeed in convincing the jury and therefore found themselves nominated! The director was not kind to the young Belgian, declaring during the debrief: “I think she has a magnificent voice, but I am starting to get tired of hearing her sing out of tune.”
The two duos will have to do everything to save their place during the prime broadcast this Saturday, November 25. At the end of the evening, a duo will be saved by the public. Small change compared to the previous edition, the second duo will be decided by the candidates. The person named with the fewest votes will leave the adventure.
