Cherchesov said he wants to see only one player from Russia in the club

Head coach of the Hungarian “Ferencváros” Stanislav Cherchesov declared on the air of Match TV that of all the Russian football players, only Daler Kuzyaev might strengthen his team.
The contract of 30-year-old Kuzyaev with Zenit is valid until the end of the season. Earlier, Cherchesov said that Ferencvaros would try to acquire Kuzyaev.
When asked if Kuzyaev is the only Russian footballer he would like to see in his team, Cherchesov replied: “Today, yes.”
According to him, there is no need to discuss the possibility of switching “a hundred times” with Kuzyaev. “He and any other football player must make his decision, you need to explain clearly once, put not numbers on the table, but perspectives and leave the person alone. <...> Now I don’t even know if the club is negotiating or not. I gave the go-ahead to several players, ”added Cherchesov.

Cherchesov has been in charge of Ferencváros since 2021 and has already won the Hungarian Championship twice.
Kuzyaev has been playing for Zenit since 2017 and has won the Russian Championship five times with the club.
The midfielder has also been playing in the Russian national team since 2017, has played 46 matches and scored two goals.
