The executive would like to require from social landlords a regular and obligatory assessment of “the personal, financial and property situation” of social housing tenants. The Minister of Housing thus suggests that some beneficiaries of social housing end up exceeding the income ceilings, while “1.8 million households legitimately apply” to enter one of the 5.2 million existing social housing units.
