The Standard Chartered Marathon organized by the Hong Kong Athletics Federation will be held on January 21, 2024. It is mainly divided into three major categories: full marathon, half marathon and 10 kilometers. The number of places increased to 74,000
The Standard Chartered Marathon 2024, which will be held on January 21 next year, will fully return to its pre-epidemic scale, with the number of entries increased to 74,000. It is mainly divided into three major categories including full marathon, half marathon, and 10 kilometers. The 10-kilometer wheelchair race and wheelchair race experience group will also host the Asian Marathon Championships for the first time since the outbreak, bringing together runners from nearly 45 regions in Asia.

Ending at Victoria Park
This year’s full marathon and half marathon will start from Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, the 10-km race will start from the Eastern Corridor, and the wheelchair race will start from Wan Chai Sports Ground, and all races will end at Victoria Park. In terms of starting time, the half marathon and 10 km races will start at 5:40 am, and the full marathon will start at 6 am.

Registration lottery starts at 10 a.m. on September 21st
The public can register for the lottery on its official website from 10 a.m. on September 21 to 7 p.m. on October 5. The results of the first round of lottery will be announced at 2 p.m. on October 9, while the results of the second round will be announced on October 9. Announced at 2:00 pm on the 19th. Please note that each contestant can only register for the Jam Mar 2024 once, and cannot register for individual and team public draws at the same time. The “Quota for Disabled Persons” and “Wheelchair Race” are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Complete the event and receive an electronic certificate of achievement + medal
In terms of registration fees, the registration fee for local participants is $600 for the full marathon, $520 for the half marathon, $420 for the 10-kilometer race, and $350 for the 10-kilometer wheelchair race/wheelchair race experience group. Participants will receive a conference T-shirt and runner bag within the designated time. If you complete the event, you will receive an electronic certificate of achievement and a completion medal.
