«Stand up comedy in broken English»
Romanian comedian who travels and does comedy in very simple English, Victor Patrascan, will appear in Patras this week, specifically on Wednesday, September 4 at the act theater on the Gerokostopoulou Stairs
The international comedian Victor Patrascan is preparing to bring his unique humor to Patras this autumn. Often referred to as ‘the Comedy Nomad’, Victor is known amongst his comedy peers for organizing the largest self-funded tour in Europe and beyond.
Without having a permanent place of residence, Victor essentially lives on the road, constantly touring. Over the past four years, he has performed in around 50 countries, bringing laughter to audiences with his witty observations and engaging storytelling.
Having performed in more than 70 cities around the world, this will be Victor’s first appearance in Patras!
‘Stand up Comedy in Broken English’ is a unique performance where Victor comments in a sharp way on the ideas of nationality, hatred, race, religion and stereotypes.
Victor incorporates his unique experience as a wanderer into his performances. The audience is invited to see themselves through the eyes of an artist cut off from his ethnic roots. While he jokes about the stereotypes of each nation he’s visited, he also highlights how absurd identity can be.
It promises a unique and thoughtful experience for fans of stand-up comedy and entertainment!
