Utilizing a forklift, the 56-year-old had positioned the bag with the granulate above the 1.60-meter-high funnel and, in line with the police, climbed over the forklift onto the funnel to slit open the bag – whereupon the complete 800 kilos of granulate from the bag rained down on the person and buried him.
Colleagues observed the accident and got here to the North Macedonian’s help. Additionally they managed to dig him out – however the man was severely injured and needed to be taken to hospital by rescue helicopter following receiving first help.
