The Department of Meteorology stated that “stable weather dominates Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, under the influence of an area of ​​high atmospheric pressure, and will continue for the coming days, with relatively low night temperatures, which calls for warning of the danger of ice formation on the mountainous and internal roads during days of the week,” noting that “the average average temperature on the coast for the month of January is between 11 and 19 degrees Celsius.”

And she indicated in her bulletin, “The expected weather in Lebanon, Wednesday, is partly cloudy to few clouds, with a rise in temperatures on the mountains and in the interior, with no significant change on the coast, and local fog forms on the heights during the morning period,” warning of “ice formation on the mountain and internal roads.” during the night and early morning hours.”

And the Department of Estimates pointed out, “The weather expected on Thursday is generally clear, with a slight rise in temperatures, and temperatures remaining low at night. As for the expected weather on Friday, it will be few clouds, with a continued rise in temperatures, especially on the mountains and indoors, while they remain low during the night.” .

And it indicated that “the weather expected on Saturday is partly cloudy with high clouds, with the beginning of a slight drop in temperatures, and night temperatures remaining low, especially on the mountains and indoors.”

It also reported that “weak southeasterly surface winds at night, to westerly and northwesterly during the day, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h. Sweeping is generally good on the coast and bad on heights in the morning due to fog. The relative humidity on the coast is between 55 and 80%, and the sea condition is average.” Wave height, water surface temperature 19 degrees Celsius.
