Under the eyes of numerous witnesses and customers of the Ville 2 shopping center in Charleroi, a stabbing attack took place this Monday not far from the Kruidvat store and the escalators.
According to the first information available to the Charleroi public prosecutor’s office, it concerns two people residing illegally. The attacker stabbed the victim in the thigh. “From the first information received, she had a wound in the femoral artery. Ultimately, the artery would not be affected,” specifies substitute Di Vincenzo.
The attacker is on the run and has not yet been identified. The injured man was treated by emergency services in the shopping center before being transferred to hospital. “It will be heard later”, adds the Charleroi prosecutor’s office
An investigation is underway. An investigating judge was contacted.
