The WHSD was cleaned seven times at night and 310 tons of reagents were used. “During the night, in conditions of continuous snowfall, the cleaning vehicles completed seven cleaning circles, covering all sections of the route. During each circle, treatment with deicing materials, snow removal with plows and sweeping with brushes was carried out. Next, the collected snow will be transported to snow melting stations.”
Federal roads of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, according to FKU Uprdor North-West, cleans and processes 274 units of equipment. Mostotrest carries out cleaning at its almost 400 facilities: these are bridges, embankment sidewalks along the railings near the water (roads and sidewalks near houses on the embankments are cleaned by other organizations), underground and ground crossings. Most of the objects are in the Central, Admiralteysky, Petrogradsky and Vasileostrovsky districts. 68 harvesting machines, 15 units of small mechanization, and 138 manual workers are involved in the cleaning. Additionally, an emergency team of 20 people from Mostotrest employees has been created to resolve urgent issues, the company’s press service reports.
