SSa registers 21,565 new cases and 470 deaths from covid in 24 hours

Mexico City. In the past 24 hours, 21,565 cases of covid-19 were confirmed, so that to date, 5,366,405 people have had the disease. 470 deaths were also added to the national registry for a total of 314,598, reported the Ministry of Health.

Infections of the SARS-CoV-2 virus continue to decline with less than 46 percent in the period from January 30 to February 5 compared to the previous week.

Meanwhile, the cases of people who started with symptoms of the infection, today were estimated at 82 thousand 102, while hospitals continue to vacate. The SSa indicated that 27 percent of the general beds and 20 percent of those with a fan are occupied.

This afternoon’s report indicates that one million 140 thousand 834 vaccines against the coronavirus were applied on Wednesday. Of nearly 85 million people who have received at least one dose, 93 percent already have the full schedule.
