SRE asks Mexicans to leave Middle Eastern countries due to armed conflict

MEXICO CITY.- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) recommended not to travel to the Middle East, given the Recent tensions in the region and the increase in the level of risk with consequences that are difficult to predict in terms of security.

The SRE requested not to move to: Israel, Lebanon and Iransince consular assistance and protection actions may be seriously impacted.

For Mexicans who are currently in those countries, they suggest schedule your departure as soon as possible.

The agency stressed that There are trade routes available In order to leave safely, exit options could be drastically limited without prior notice, so it is not possible to guarantee that there will be conditions for a safe and expeditious evacuation of Mexican persons in the future.
